Why Hire a Certified Arborist?

Trees are a long-term investment in your property and community. A Certified Arborist brings specialized knowledge, training, and hands-on experience to ensure your trees are safe, healthy, and properly managed.

Professional Expertise

Albert Weisfuss, a Certified Arborist is trained in tree biology, diagnosis, and care techniques. He follows ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) standards and stays current with best management practices, giving you confidence that your trees are managed correctly.

Safety and Risk Management

Tree work can be hazardous. Certified Arborists are trained to identify risks such as decay, structural weakness, and pest or disease issues. We use industry-standard Tree Risk Assessment (TRAQ) methods to keep your family, property, and neighborhood safe.

Regulatory Knowledge

Local ordinances often regulate tree removals, pruning, and replacements—especially on the Monterey Peninsula. As a Certified Arborist, I navigate these requirements, prepare reports, and coordinate with city and county agencies to ensure compliance.

Tree Health and Longevity

Proper pruning, soil care, and pest management extend the life of your trees. A Certified Arborist provides science-based care that promotes strong structure, reduces hazards, and supports long-term forest health.
